Girls Christmas Party!!

Tawni had a little girl Christmas Party at her house. I was so glad they invited me it was so fun to see everyone and get to know them a little better also. We had great food, and awesome white elephants. It was fun! We hope to start doing more often!

StoneTree Company Party!!

Last night was Josh's Company Party! He loves hosting this party this is the second year we have held it at our house. Josh likes it better that way so we can play games and enjoy each other instead of being at a restaurant not able to visit with everyone. I think everyone had a great time. Santa came and even spoke Spanish (thanks Rob!) - we played Christmas Bingo, and had white elephants. It was fun!

A big thanks to Becca who came over and helped me get it all ready She also stayed after and helped me clean it all up. She is amazing! My cousin Paige was also here and helped me out. It's been fun having her and Mylee here to visit.

Fun party, but always relieved when they are over too! I am proud of Josh I think he is a great boss, he cares about his employees and takes good care of them. I don't tell him enough how much I appreciate all he does! You are the best honey!!

GO COLTS!

Ok so if you know Josh you know how obsessed he is with the Colts. Well our good friend Jessi is in love with the Cowboys or any team that the Colts play. She basically just wants the Colts to lose and her and Josh are so fun to watch football with because they just go at each other. So we decided to have dinner together and watch the game. We had to record it and no one was supposed to watch it until we were all there. Tanner kind of messed up on that rule - but it was ok. He didn't know the end. So we all showed up to her house in Colt attire even Jett. She was so upset!! Josh made Jett a Colt's outfit it was awesome. And once again they go undefeated 13 -0 - (it's ok Jessi maybe one day your team will be a winning team!) GO COLTS!

I forgot to mention that we decided to not take Jett to the Christmas Party - to many kids and a freezing cold building. So Grandma Doris tended him while we were gone. That was the longest I have been away from him!

Family Shower/Family Christmas Party

This weekend was fun my family had a baby shower for us. They didn't have one before Jett got here and really wanted to do one. It was really nice the food was great and once again Jett got a lot of fun stuff. It was fun to see the family and visit and let them see Jett. Thanks to everyone that came and helped out especially Becky and Stacey for putting it together. They are awesome - so on the ball and willing to do whatever! Love you guys!

The next day was the Blackburn Christmas Party over in Fremont. It was a good time as always. Josh of course won musical chairs by cheating (as always!) - we had yummy soup, fun entertainment and great gifts.

We just love the Holiday Season and the joy it brings into the atmosphere. Most of all we love being able to see our family more and share the special traditions we carry on each year. We are once again so thankful for our amazing family.

One Month Old!!

I can not believe Jett is already one month old today! He changes everyday - it makes me sad I don't want him to grow up to fast! He is starting to smile so much more and be more alert. He is so strong when you put him up on your shoulder thinking he will rest his head he keeps his head straight up without us holding it and just looks from side to side. He is definitely a strong little boy. He also just loves to have his head back and look around at everything.

We are still loving every minute. It makes me sad every time I think of going back to work so if any one knows of a good deal for insurance let me know. That's what holds us back. No it will be ok my good friend Dani is going to come here and tend him so she will be great. I will finish the year and figure it out from there.

We appreciate everyone love and support we have been so blessed with such great people in our lives!

Ginger Bread Houses!

Dani had a great idea to make ginger bread houses it was fun. Dani and Logan came along with Jill & Rob, and Jalene & Jeremy! It started out pretty clean not a very big mess until Josh came over and got his hands on everything. It was fun though! We are so grateful for all our awesome friends!

Frist Real Bath

Ok so last night we decided to give Jett is first real bath so we got the nice little tub out and got everything ready. I was a little nervous. Josh came in to take pictures - Jett loved it for a while then I started getting nervous because I was washing his hair and he was squirming around so then he started to cry for a few minutes. Josh said I was more out of control then Jett. It was fun though - hopefully we can get it down.

Our dearest friend brought Jett an early Christmas present. She knows us well - Josh was in love with them he can't wait to take Jett to the farm and show him how to use his first set of boots.

Grandma's Boy
It was Jett's first Thanksgiving! It was actually Josh's family's year for Thanksgiving but we didn't want Jett to be around that many people where he is only two weeks. We were actually just going to have my parents come down to St.George and have Thanksgiving there, but we decided to just go to my Mom's to get away for a few days. So my mom ended up cooking and Lesa, Steve, and Becca came so there was just seven of us well eight of course including Jett. Dinner was fantastic as always - my mom is such a great cook. I wasn't too much help this year - I made a salad and so did Lesa along with some yummy pies. Of course we ate to much, but just kept on eating. Josh keeps hinting to me that I need to learn how to make my Mom's rolls - he loves loves loves them.

I was sad we missed all of Josh's family I thought about them all day - but it was probably the best thing for Jett. Doris, Brandi, and Alesa came over to my Mom's the next day to see him so that was fun! Paige, Kelton and Mylee also came over to see Jett. Mylee is so cute she is getting so big.

Josh actually had to go back Thursday night because he had to work early the next day. I stayed up at my Mom's to help her put up Christmas since she helped me, and Jalene and Jeremy are going to come and pick me up.

It's been fun being here as always - we seriously have the best family ever. During this time of year you really sit back and reflect on the many blessings you have. Josh and I have been truly blessed, and we are so Thankful to our Heavenly Father for those blessings.

Dallas' Visit

Last week we flew Dallas into town to go to court to finish up some stuff. It was so fun to see her. She looks fantastic. We took some fun pictures and Jett loved seeing her again. She seriously has made things so amazing for us. Everything and everyone are so comfortable it is never akward or anything. We are so glad God sent her to us.

Court was really easy Dallas just had to answer a few questions and sign some papers. It took like 10 minutes once we got in the court room. It was cool because Judge Ludlow was our judge (Josh was sad he wasn't there he is good friends with Ludlow). Ludlow teased Dallas about Idaho and stuff so it was nice.

So it was another great experience as always.

He is already starting to change we went into his two week doctor appointment and he had already gained a pound. He is such a good little baby. Even though we don't get a lot of sleep at night we still couldn't be happier!

I can't believe Jett is a week old today! He is already starting to change. He is so much fun - he has been grinning and being so happy. We are so lucky he is such a great baby. He still struggles in the night a little but it was better last night. Josh came home yesterday and said why don't you go for a run and get some fresh air I want to tend. So I got dressed and ready to go but I had the hardest time leaving. I just don't like leaving him.

Josh's Mom has been down here helping us (thank goodness) if she hadn't of been here we would have been so so exhausted. She has helped me with all my questions, and is just so great. We love her so much and appreciate all she does for us.

Jett is getting excited for Grandma Roberts to come tomorrow. He has had a lot of visitors. We told him last night he was going to have a lot of friends so he better get used to it I guess.

It's amazing how much joy these little ones bring into your home. We have been so happy. We treasure ever second!

Welcome Home Jett!

We finally made it home last night. It was still bad weather so I was really nervous, but it was nice to get home and show Jett is new home. We have just been soaking in every minute - he is so much fun! We are so truly blessed!

We finally were able to start our new little family. Jett was born on 11/11/09 at 8:24 p.m at the Madison Rexburg Hospital. He weighed 7 lbs 8 oz and was 21 inches long. He was absolutely perfect when he came out. Josh and I can not even share with you what an amazing experience we had. Dallas made this whole process so amazing for all of us. She let us be in the room the whole time Josh even got to cut the cord. The doctor's nurse told us that was one of the neatest feelings in a room for that situation he has ever seen, and it really was. She held him and then wanted to hug me and told us how excited she was for us and knew it was how it was meant to be. I just cry thinking back at that precious moment in our lives. We love Dallas and her family so much. She will always be a part of our family.

Jett is just perfect he has a whole head of black hair that we hope he doesn't lose. He has big hands and has been such an angel. He hardly ever cries, (but when we change his diaper). We are just soaking in every little minute we can. We really don't know how we got so blessed - because he truly is our little angel baby. My testimony of putting things in the Lords hands is so strong - he really does lead you where you need to go. This was Heavenly Father's plan for us and we are so excited to start our Eternal Family with our perfect little baby boy.

It's amazing how much love you can have in just an instance of time. We truly love our new little baby boy!!
