SEDONA ARIZONA TRIP!!
We had been planning an RV trip with the Marshall's for a while. So I took some time off of school, and we headed down for the weekend. The Marshall's had reserved the RV and we thought we were going to pick it up on Thursday. Lone behold - the RV was waiting for us up North! So we basically drove to Vegas for nothing - let's just say Jeremy wasn't to happy. It wasn't their fault so we got things taken care of and just decided to get a hotel for the weekend. It ended up working out better for me because it was still cold at nights and I am becoming a baby about the cold! And not to mention I had a hot shower too - man where are my old days of camping!! No I still love to camp, but it is nice to have a shower right!
We got to Sedona that night, checked in our hotel and went to grab something to eat. We ate at a Mexican Restaurant that wasn't the best, but it was food! The next day we started out early going Mountain Biking. We hit some fun trails and then went up to Slide Rock where we thought we might get in the water, but again freezing isn't my thing - so we just laid out and watched people slide down in the water.
The next day was quite my day - we again went mountain biking, but the trails that day were a little more technical. As I was going around a sharp turn I hit my front brake and crashed hard core, now it wouldn't have been so bad if I didn't crash right into a cactus!! The three of them were pulling the needles out for quite some time - well I should say Liz and Josh, Jeremy couldn't handle it. I looked pretty banged up and I still probably have a few needles in me, but we kept going and had a great day. I did get a little nervous and didn't go as hard core, but we still mountain biked for a few hours.
Later that afternoon we toured the town and enjoyed the shops and the food (which was the boys choice and it just had to be the best food all trip! I will just say Liz's coupon for pizza wasn't the best!)
We saw a couple movies, enjoyed the town, enjoyed each others company (all but hearing Jeremy talk in his sleep which is hilarious!). Overall it was an AWESOME TRIP!! Sedona is a very beautiful place, this time of year is perfect it is like St. George. It does have a lot of tourists though so be ware!! I can't wait to go back! (next time I will wear a cactus proof vest!)
