We went up to the Ute Stampede with Jeremy and Jalene. We met Kahle and Mary Jo up in Nephi. It was a fun celebration. They have parades like the whole weekend and all sorts of activities - you have to love the small town celebrations. One parade was a bathing beauty parade where girls are actually in swim suits - crazy huh, then the winners ride in the rodeo that night. Kahle's sister won that so it was fun to see her at the rodeo in her cute swimming suit. They actually win money so come on girls maybe next year we should go out for it!!!!
We stayed up in Springville both nights because the hotels were booked in Nephi. We went up to Provo on Saturday and went shopping, ate lunch at PF Changs, and hit a movie before the rodeo so we had a good time! We love tripping with Jalene and Jeremy they are always a good time!

Sounds like fun! I went to the Ute Stampede once in high school (forever ago!) and it was a blast. Let's all get together this week...maybe Thursday or Friday.

Cute Pictures! We were actually all there on Friday night too:) It's always such a great rodeo, and the buffalo thing was AMAZING huh! Loved it... Oh i told derrik you said you guys are up for a Volleyball tournament at any time, i guess there is a 4 on 4 this year for the piute county fair, but im not sure if it's big at all??? I'll have to ask Mandy Dalton i think she's in charge! Anyways now im babbling so ill stop:)
All I know is that the v-ball tournament is scheduled for saturday aug. 2nd at 11. I am not sure how big it is going to be because you just sign up there. That makes me nervous because I would feel way bad if you guys came up for it and it is lame. It would be dang fun though if there are other good teams. Let me know if you think it is worth the risk?? oh yeah and we were at the ute stampede sat. night :)
