Saying Goodbye!

What an interesting week this has been. Monday Nathan got set apart in the morning so my whole family came down to spend the day together before Nathan flew out the next morning bright early. So we all met up at Cafe Rio for lunch, and I could tell my mom wasn't looking like she felt the best so I said oh maybe it's just your nerves. But see my dad had gotten the stomach flu on Saturday night after Paige's Reception, which by the way was a beautiful wedding everything turned out wonderful and it was so fun to see everyone - especially my cousin Taylor that we all haven't seen in years! Anyway - so after we had lunch we came back to the house, well when my Mom got back I could tell she was sick - well she ended up getting the whole 24 hour stomach crap and then later that night after we went out without her I ended up getting it and man it was awful. I hate the stomach flu. So I woke up before five (even though I didn't sleep much) to get ready to go to the airport, we get up to the airport and the flight was delayed and Nathan would have missed all his other flights if he would have waited so they rescheduled him for the next morning. I felt so bad for him the anxiety of leaving and having to go through it twice! To tell you the truth I spent the whole time in the airport bathroom so I wasn't aware of everything going on until Josh said lets go home. So the family ended up staying another day - I just laid on my couch I felt so bad that I couldn't do more with them, but I just felt like crap. I think everyone just enjoyed hanging out that day running errands and doing whatever that night I felt better so by morning I was feeling okay to wake up early and do it again. We did get him to the airport and everything was on time so we said our goodbyes and he was off. It was pretty sad to see my little brother leave to a Country far away. I don't think it is ever easy to say goodbye to someone for two years, but I am excited for him and know that he will be an awesome missionary. My mom is still waiting to hear that he made it I am sure he did. His flight from Atlanta to Africa was 19 hours - can you imagine I bet he doesn't want to step back on a plane for a long time. I guess two years is long enough. So that was our first part of the week. I am glad I felt better Wednesday because it was the big Enrichment Activity that night that we had to pull together. The only other thing that stinks is I woke up yesterday with my dang laryngitis back so now I am at school making every effort to just be able to talk. What is up with me getting sick this year - I am a healthy person more so than Josh and he never gets sick. Well I plan on this being the end of it. That is the scoop now the weekend is here again and we are ready to play again (or work one of the two!)
