Turkey Hunt

I got my first kill ever yesterday!!! It was so much fun - we got up at 4:15 in the morning to get up where the turkey's were before the sun came up. It was worth it we got out of the truck after six and I shot my turkey at 6:25! I always get so nervous especially when Greg (our Turkey Guide) is whispering "don't move an inch" he kept whispering what to do and I was so nervous because I had to shoot it through some branches. Now my family can't tease me anymore for the last turkey hunt, (like that will ever happen!) Josh let me shoot first so he didn't end up getting bird. We actually hiked forever and came upon one and it flew off so hopefully better luck for him on Saturday. It was such a pretty day - not to mention I got to miss school so that was GREAT!! Turkey dinner on us come on over!
