Cancun Mexico Trip

We decided to go on our vacation to Cancun when school got out since we had to cancel our plans in March. We were a little nervous because of the Swine Flue and everything but we weren't about to cancel everything again. When we got to Mexico we had to fill out a paper saying we weren't sick and they took our temperature. It was funny! Cancun was pretty empty comparing to what it usually is. We actually liked it that way. We went to the Wet & Wild in Cancun and seriously there was probably two kids there. There were no lines it was great! I don't think it will stay like that forever. The resort we were staying at was 20% full everyone that worked there said it is slowly getting better. We want to go back so we hope it isn't to full or it would be crowded.

We didn't get the swine flu we are all doing fine. Josh was actually sick the first few days we were there, but that had been coming on. I was nervous he was going to be sick the whole time.

We had a really good time, a few things occurred that put a tamper on our trip like our basement flooded! Thank goodness our really good friends were staying at our house that weekend or our whole basement would have been ruined! I felt so bad for them though because they came down for a vacation and ended up taking care of our house the whole time. They had to call a company over to come take care of everything. I think it was a mess. But they saved all of our stuff we didn't have to replace our carpet just the padding so it could have been a lot worse. What happened was a sprinkler stayed on all night and it overflowed down at the bottom ( I will attach some pictures they took!) So we just want to give a big shout out of thanks to the Taylor's for saving our house and everyone who helped them like the Lamberts and some of their friends. THANKS SO VERY MUCH! What would we do in life without good friends!

So after the news of our basement and Josh being sick we did enjoy our trip. We did some fun things. We went on a jungle tour which we laughed the whole time because we were wondering where the jungle was. We took these speed boats clear out in the ocean and went snorkeling. It was fun! We went to Cozumel again and just a lot of other stuff. We met a couple from Phoenix while we were there that we hung out with they were awesome. We hope to stay in touch with them.

Oh one more funny thing we rented a car to drive to Playa De Carmen and stuff and Josh got pulled over twice! The first time they were going to take his license so he ended up just paying them cash. So funny how it works over there.

Overall it was a great trip, awesome weather, good food, and good entertainment.
