Eternal Family at Last!!

This weekend we had the opportunity to take Jett to the temple to be sealed to us for time and all eternity. What a special day that was. He looked so pure and perfect in his little white tux. I just kept kissing on him. When we got there I was a little nervous to drop him off but I had a lady I work with named Debra Simpson that volunteered to go in that day because she knew we were coming in so she took him and that was nice to know who it was. She was really good with him too! We went through the whole process, when we walked in the room it was so nice to see all of our family and close friends there. We appreciate all their support so thanks to everyone that came and was apart of that special day.

When Sister Simpson brought Jett into the room he was just smiling and was so happy - he was so good the whole time he was there. What a little angel. It was such a wonderful, spiritual, memorable experience that I will cherish forever!

After wards we all met out on the temple grounds to bless him. We decided to do it all in the same day so people didn't have to stay the night and wait for the next day for us to bless him at church. It was actually very neat to do it there, Josh gave him a beautiful blessing. I am so thankful that he has the priesthood and is able to bless our family with it. Jett again did so well he didn't fuss or anything during the blessing - (I think my prayers must have been answered again because everything went so well!)

Dallas and her Mom were there and we were so glad they were. They will always be a special part of our family. We will always admire Dallas she is amazing not to mention so beautiful, and talented. We were glad they could be apart of that wonderful day!

After the blessing we headed down to Vernon Worthen Park right by the temple for lunch. I was so nervous there wouldn't be enough food and wow did we have plenty. Dallas and her Mom decorated the tables for me which I was so thankful for. Everyone was so willing to bring something so I we had several salads and desserts, chips and dip, fruit, you name it. We also ordered subs from Port of Subs that were super yummy too! By the time we had salads and stuff you really didn't need the sandwich, but it was good anyway. So thanks to everyone that helped out and brought something or helped us set up. I couldn't have done it without all your help and support.

Josh and I have been looking forward to this weekend for a long time. When we went to court it was nice to know it was final, but the temple made everything that much more final to us because we were finally sealed for time and all eternity. It's so nice to know that if anything were to happen now we will always be tied together as a family. I could go on forever - I just am so thankful for all that we have been blessed with. We have a healthy, happy little boy that is such an angel sent from Heaven that has changed our lives for the better. We are also so blessed with such wonderful families that are so supportive in all we do. And last but not least we have such amazing friends that have been there for us through the whole process and are such good examples to us. We truly are blessed in so many ways.
