Catch Up Time!

I need to catch up a little bit so I am just going to tie everything together in this post.

To start with the other day we were folding clothes and got one of Josh's headbands out and put it on Jett - he loved it and looked so stinking cute so we had to take a million pictures.

Yesterday Julie and Marcus her little boy came over and we visited for a minute and then went to Josh's mission president's pool. It is sooo nice we are so glad he will let us go swim. Jalene and Taylor met us there right after also so it was a lot of fun to visit with the girls and put the boys in the pool. Jett LOVES the water. He could have stayed in the pool for hours. I bought him this little floatie that covers him and it is so nice he had so much fun. We will definitely have to go back. Marcus wasn't so sure about it - it was actually his first time in a pool I think is what Julie said, but he finally warmed up to it I think and liked it. It was actually a little cold so he probably wasn't used to water being so cold. We had a lot of fun visiting and decided we wanted to get together every week to get out of the house with the kids so that will be fun and something for the kids to do. (And of course us mom's so we don't go crazy in the house all day!)

That night Josh invited several of our friends to go to dinner for my birthday since he was taking me to Vegas for the night to celebrate. Jalene came over early and decorated the house with a sign and balloons she always makes it special. We had a good group show up to dinner at Player's it was fun to see everyone. After we came back to the house for my favorite ice cream cake that Josh bought earlier in the day! Josh actually brought my gift into the restaurant to make sure everyone saw it - he actually got me a belated Mother's Day Card, and belated Anniversary card along with a birthday card and several I mean several little nick nacks (you'll see Jett and Taylor with them in the pictures) that made no sense but were funny and Jett will love to play with. The cards were great I was very excited to get them. He actually gave me money in each one to go shopping in Vegas so the little nick nacks weren't the only gift. I guess he made up for missing the other important dates (like mother's day) he knew he would never live it down. He did an awesome job with everything yesterday and tonight he is taking me to the show Le Rev and so it will be fun to go hang out for a day just Josh and I. He is awesome I have a great Husband he might have forgotten Mother's Day, but he really is the best I am so lucky to have him. Thanks to Dani and Jalene for helping us out with Jett - you are the best!!!

Well I will let you know how Vegas goes - Summer is already flying by - Jett and I are having a lot of fun, we go walking in the stroller, we have been to the park, the pool, just trying to enjoy it while I can. He is getting so big he is pulling him self up on everything, trying to climb everything, eat everything, and I swear wants to walk. And guess what he said for the first time yesterday - DA DA, I was so excited, but I am still waiting for MA MA. He is seven months today I can't believe that time has flown by. What a joy he is in our lives!
