Summer Activities!

So I am a little behind on everything that has gone on so I will try to catch us up to speed. A few weeks ago we had dinner with Jeremy and Jalene and then took the kids to the pool we got some fun pictures. The kids loved it - Jett just loves the water and I am so glad for that. I need to steal the better pictures from Jalene.

Also a few weeks ago I had my annual business conference up north. This year it wasn't as far. I rode up with Evan a teacher at Pineview Middle and then I met all the ladies up there. It was my mom, Shauna, Lesa, and me. We were having a good time until we had some family problems. Lets just say this conference wasn't the best one! I was glad to get home and see Jett. Nakelle tended him during the day and Josh had him at night! It was sad though because he got a super bad diaper rash while I was gone and didn't sleep well and was miserable so I felt bad being away. When I finally saw him and Josh I was soooo excited I missed them both so much. But when I saw his bum I just wanted to cry it was raw it looked so soar and I didn't know what to do because he just kept pooping like crazy so it wouldn't go away. I found the cure for Diaper Rashes though - REDMOND CLAY and that is no lie I used the prescription Pink Swizel or whatever and it didn't do anything compared to the clay. I will always have some on hand. Thanks to Doris for letting us have hers and introducing us to it.

So that weekend Josh met me up there in Monroe because it was Father's Day so we decided to spend the weekend up home. Josh still had to work, but it was fun Jalene came over and hung out and we went to Richfield and shopped and got lunch with my Mom and the kids. Even though Jett was still pooping every half hour it was fun. The next day the family all went up the canyon and had lunch and then went for a ride up the mountain. It was such a nice day. We didn't go way far we had all the kids in the buggy and they all fell asleep. I think Jett loved it. On the way home we were coming down the canyon and right where the water is the buggy ran out of gas. It was crazy we coasted all the way down to main street pass Bullies and then we took Josh's shoes and pushed with our hands to make it the rest of the way to the gas station. You should have seen the people passing us looking at us like what in the world, but we made it. Josh told Stockton he would pay him five bucks to get out and push. Stockton thought it was pretty funny. After we filled up we took the kids to go get an ice cream. So that was a fun day. After we got home we took off and went over to Josh's Mom's and visited for awhile and then went up to Jake and Bree's to barbecue. It was fun and the food was amazing. Bree had made all these dips and had fruit, she always goes all out and is so good at it. It was way fun to catch up with them and just hang out. We love those guys and wish we could see them more!

The next day was Father's Day and we got up and got everything ready to go up well I should say my Mom did I am not much help with a little one crawling around everywhere. Anyway we took lunch up to Fishlake and went to church and then had lunch. It was way fun we had several of my Mom's family come: Lesa, Steve, Paige, Becca, Grandpa & Grandma, Dixie & Scoot, and Brandon and his kids. So we had a good group but it was a lot of fun and the food was delicious. So we hung out there for a while the best part was the boys starting catching fish with their bare hands and Lance was leaning over catching one and Brylee was right by him and he sort of turned and she went right in the water completely under we all saw it coming. She was soaking wet and was upset but then she thought it was pretty funny. Anyway it was fun to see all of them. Especially Paige I have been worried about her.

After we hung out for awhile we took off to go to Josh's parents for dinner with the whole family. It's always a little bit wilder over there when everyone is there Josh has a big family, but it is always a lot of fun. Doris made Lasagna and as always it was delicious all of it was. So we hung out there for a while and then decided we better load up and get Jett home so when Jalene and Jeremy got there we loaded up. It was fun Jett is finally not so nervous around so much noise and action which is good I think he had fun and wasn't as overwhelmed.

Jett slept the whole way home which was nice and went right to sleep that was the first time we had tried that. I was nervous, but it was fine! The next day I had loads and loads of laundry to do. I swear that week felt like one day and then we were packing back up to go to California with Jessi and Tanner.

We took off Saturday - I met Doris in Beaver she watched Jett Thursday night and then took him over to my Mom's Friday evening, and then my MOm brought him down here on Sunday. We had a lot of fun it was just a lot of driving. I think we learned next time to go to the Angels game instead of the Dodgers the drive into LA was crazy. It's like 80 miles away and it took us like five hours to get there because of traffic it was insane. The game was a lot of fun a little scary at times, but it was fun. We sat in the free food section but didn't really use it a whole lot. We took off before it was over so we wouldn't be stuck in the traffic AGAIN!!! It was pretty funny though with Jessi in the back seat yelling at Tanner to watch out and switch lanes. She is going to kill me that I wrote that but come on Jessi it's the memories right and how we both got car sick from it. Anyway the Beach House was way nice thanks to Tanner's Mom and Step Dad for letting us stay there. We were right by the beach it was nice, we rode down to the marina on our beach cruiser bikes, watched the boys try to surf and boogie board, walked down the beach and got snow cones, it was nice and relaxing. We had a good time we were glad they invited us even though we were a pain.

Of course it was good to get home and see Jett I had miss him so much and it made it even harder because he STILL isn't feeling good, well he acts fine but he isn't drinking hardly anything and he threw up once at Doris' and once at my Mom's and had a little diarrhea, so I just don't know what's up. Hopefully it was just a bug because my Dad didn't feel good Sunday and then my Mom left early Monday because she didn't feel good and come to find out Doris and Tim didn't feel the best - so hopefully it will pass. I am taking him in today just to check though because he really won't drink his bottle and spits most of it up or poops it right out. So hopefully we can get it figured out! It makes me feel so bad when he doesn't feel the best.

Well that's about it all that and one more thing - on Father's Day we shared some exciting news with everyone - WE ARE PREGNANT!! Yes crazy isn't it. It's amazing that we waited so long and then it just happened on it's own. We honestly believe it was because Jett had to get to us first. I said to Josh I know we needed Jett but couldn't have God waited a few more months he waited this long - no we are really excited it will be crazy at the beginning but I am sure it will be amazing for them to be so close and be best buddies. We find out in about 4 weeks what it is. Any guesses! I am due January 7th on my Dad's birthday. Bree Frei is due that same week which is so much fun, and so is my cousin Micklee so it will be fun. Well there it is the exciting news. Josh and I were both shocked and I think so was everybody else!
