Weekend Fun!!!

This weekend was really fun first off my Mom came down Friday to get some Christmas shopping done so Jett and I met up with her and shopped for a while then Josh met us and we took her out to dinner for her Birthday at the Pizza Factory. After dinner Josh took Jett and my Mom and I continued to shop until about 9:30. It was fun and she got a lot done.

The next day we got up and got ready and then took off to go shop some more. Jett was so good the whole time I had to post a picture of him at the mall shopping with us. When Josh got home from work we took him back for a nap and went and finished up by going to a couple more stores.

It's always so much fun to have my Mom come down I wish she could do it more. She is so easy to have around and so fun to be with. Glad we could celebrate her birthday with her too.

She took of around two and I headed home. That night Blake and Bree, and Josh and Michelle came over for dinner and to make Gingerbread houses. It was fun - of course, the boys complained for a while about doing the gingerbread houses, but once they got started it was like the girls couldn't even participate because they were so into it and wanted the best house - you know those boys always a competition and so intense.

They turned out really cute we had a good time doing it. After the boys watched a movie downstairs and the girls watched a chic flick upstairs. It was fun to have them over we need to do it more often.

Bree looks adorable but she is like me about done with being uncomfortable - it was fun visiting about everything with her since this is both our first experience with all of it. Crazy that our due dates are just days apart. It will be fun!

The next day was Sunday and we did the whole church thing, but after wards we had a Christmas Party at Jamie's house. Sunday was about the only day that would work for all of us. It was the Terry's, the Eve's, the Marhshall's and us. We had soup, rolls, salad, and of course treats and games. It was fun getting all of us together. Again I wish we could do it more. It does get pretty crazy though with all of us and our kids its pretty much a mad house. Jamie is so good to let us do it at her house and she is always going above and beyond at parties. I have just loved her being down here, and not to mention just right down the road from us too. I do need to take some cooking lessons from her - she is such a great cook, and Mom, and all the above.

Jamie brought out some old pictures I have to laugh because we all look so much different and can I say better because it's the truth. Funny how we all change!

We are so lucky to have such great friends that are so much fun to be around and are such great examples to us. I really hope our little family will find as good of friends as we have because I truly believe your friends will make or break you.

Oh I forgot to mention the bottom pictures of me with four weeks left I have had several people ask me why I haven't posted any pregnancy pictures of myself - I guess I just didn't want to but it's true one day I will probably want to see what I looked like so here are a few of me this weekend. I only have four weeks left and am getting to that point of being ready to be done. He is definitely getting bigger and is very active. I can actually move him around he is so hard and just kicks me all the time it is just crazy how they are just right there. I can stand in the mirror and go oh there is his foot - it is just weird but fun to experience. Glad I had the opportunity to see what is like to be pregnant.
