I can't believe Colt is already two months old. It has gone by so fast and he is getting so big so fast. I told Josh we need to take more pictures of more moments it's funny with your first you just take pictures of every little thing and then with your second you forget because you are so busy just taking care of them.
He has been such a good baby like I tell people he has to be with our little busy body Jett. I do have to say that Colt is quite the grunter and mover. He constantly has to be moving his arms when he is awake and he makes all sorts of sounds when he eats and is awake also.
Colt is also very very strong he will stand on his feet why you hold him for a little bit, and he can't be left in a swing or bouncer without being buckled in because he moves so much and throws his arms that he rolls out. For example we put him in Jett's crib for the first time last night and put Jett down stairs in his new crib in his new room. Well I went in at four this morning which is not Colt's normal time he has been sleeping through the night until anywhere from 5:30 to 8:30 so I was not ready for this 4:00 am stuff again but when I went in he had moved clear up to the top of the crib and was on his back which if you don't know I sleep him on his tummy so HE ROLLED OVER!!! I couldn't believe it! I told Josh he will go back in his little pack n play if he keeps getting up early and moving that much in a crib. But I was impressed with how much he can move around already.
He is also smiling a lot more and more attentive of what is around him. He coos more and more each day and smiles too. We sure do love him.
We had Nathan's homecoming this last weekend. It was so fun to hear more about his mission. He did a great job. He has grown up so much and is so humble I wish he could keep that forever but I know they get out of it pretty quick.
We had a lot of family and friends come on Sunday it was super fun to see everyone and visit for a second and when I say second that is because mister busy Jett kept me and Josh busy running instead of talking.
We hope Nathan will come visit we are excited he is back. We also are very thankful for all the help this weekend why I went home. Sometimes it just seems like a pain because I am not much help anymore I am more in the way with two boys, but I guess that isn't what is all about like Josh said it is about family and I will be able to be helpful again shortly hopefully!
I am just very thankful for such a great family that is willing to help us and support us in all we do. And also for a family loves the gospel and our examples of how to live it!
