Already October

I can't believe it is already October. A few things to catch up on OK SO I WROTE THE LONGEST POST AND IT TOTALLY CLOSED ON ME AND I LOST EVERYTHING SO I WILL SEE IF I CAN REMEMBER EVERYTHING I WROTE I HATE THAT!!!!

A few things that have happened in the last few weeks - Josh went on his annual guys trip to a Colt's Game. Even though the Colt's are struggling and they lost once again they still had a good time. They went to Tampa Bay Florida and Golfed and fished and had a good time. I think Josh realized guy trips are better not so long because he starts missing us after a couple days - which is a good thing we missed him too, but glad he can go and have a good time. He went with his brother Jake and cousin and buddy Jeremy Bastian!

When Josh got home we have tried to do a few fun things with the family. We went to the Dixie celebration at the park and they had all sorts of stuff so we did that in the morning and then hit Staheli Farm after naps and saw all the animals and hung out. Jett loved it. Colt did too but he will be a bigger fan next year I am sure.

We have also been doing a lot of "hopper hunting" that is Jett's fun thing he LOVES to find grass hoppers. Well he loves to find any bug or bird or dog, but it's funny he gets down low and sneaks up on them it's pretty hilarious!

For an update on the boys Jett obviously loves an adventure whether it's climbing something new or finding a "hopper" he is constantly wanting to be outside. He will stand by the door and say "side, side, please side" then it because a cry if he doesn't get out there soon. He loves to be outside so I am curious how the winter will be. He has loved the back yard we got him a little sandbox to play in and he has loved that. He always finds new things to do. We gave him an early birthday present it was a push car with the door and top on it but I honestly think he is to big for it already but I guess Colt can use it. Jett is saying so many things I really have to watch what I say now because the minute I say it he says it right back. He is a little smarty pants we read during breakfast every morning first scriptures then books and he remembers so much it's amazing what they soak in and you don't even know it. He is also so coordinated everyone will just tell us how amazing it is to watch him and I guess I just thought that is how certain things were but he is he will just jump to things and pull up on things that take a lot of muscle for a kid his age. I am excited to get him involved with athletics in the coming years!

Colt is growing like a weed still - he could pretty much wear all Jett's clothes. He is now crawling on all fours no more scooting he is actually getting really close to standing by himself. He pulls up on things and stands really well and walks using the object but falls on his but when it is time to move somewhere else. He still sniffs his nose when he is playing or gets frustrated but if he is really frustrated he will grunt at you it is so funny. He totally has attitude now it cracks me up. I can tell he has learned a lot from his brother already. I am also learning I am going to have to have two of every thing because whatever Colt has Jett comes and takes then Colt gets frustrated so yes the teasing has began! He is also eating a lot of different food I think I introduced to early because now he struggles to eat his baby food. He also loves to be outside and wants to put everything in his mouth that he sees like rocks weeds, plastic, you name it. He is at that hard stage of everything to the mouth. He sure melts my heart though I love going to get him and seeing his big grin with his new teeth coming in. He gets so excited to see me and is always so smiley. I love to hear him giggle when I tickle him or play peek a boo. He loves to do patty cake and crawl over to me and just climb up. He definitely likes his Mom around wherever he is. I can't believe he is nine months old. My little baby is getting to be a big little boy.

I always say how blessed I am but truly I have loved every minute being home with my boys okay that is a lie sometimes I lose it and get frustrated with certain things but I wouldn't trade it for anything. They learn and grow so fast I can't imagine missing out on that.

I am also so lucky because Josh is such an amazing Dad. He just loves to be with his boys and is so patient and so playful and helpful. They are so lucky to have such a great example in their lives that loves them so much. I also have to add that he is such a great husband. This world gets pretty crazy with everything in it and Satan working on us I am just lucky to have a husband that treats me so good and loves me so much. Again I say I am so blessed!
