Big Number 30!!!!

Let's just say I really didn't want to turn the big 30 this year it is a little depressing, but everyone made it so AMAZING that it was actually a perfect day! The beginning plans had to be changed because Josh's aunt Vicki passed away from Cancer so we had the funeral Monday morning so it threw a big loop in things for JOsh and everyone and this is what....... So Josh had asked me what I wanted to do and I told him spend the day with him and do whatever well he made arrangements for us to go boating all day so he was a little bummed that couldn't happen. Well when we ended up having to head up home for the funeral I told him I might stay up there I was suppose to be going to Park City for a business conference but he got me talked out of that it was actually going to be a pain so I figured I would ditch it this year since I wasn't going back next year. Well he had to just tell me he put a lot of time in to what we were doing that day and night and half of it already got r

uined so I had to at least come back and then I could go back up if I wanted to so I agreed. Well Stacey had called me and said oh you are going to be here on your birthday what should we do so then I felt bad so I called JOsh and said we better go up Sunday and do something with my family so I am not ditching them the day of my birthday. So he had to call my Mom and they planned going up the canyon Sunday and doing tin foil dinners and having cake. It was fun everyone was there and it was a nice day. Well the next day Josh told me we had to leave by three so we did the funeral stuff which was very sad but very spiritual and nice to have the whole family there. After the luncheon we took off and I thought it was a little weird that I didn't see my Mom she had left me a note but I seriously thought she was just running errands before she left to Park City the next day. Well STacey had told me that she was helping her Mom in Gunnison that day so she could only tend until 12:30 which I was totally fine with, well on the way home I started asking questions and Josh said he would answer three so I basically got that we were going on a trip he had it all planned out he had my bags packed and babysitters lined out for the rest of the week. So I totally thought we were going on a trip and I was a little stressed wondering who was tending where we were going you know and more but he did say we were going to dinner with a few people before we left because our flights were later. So we pulled up and I couldn't go inside because it would give some stuff away so we got Jeremy supposedly to come and tend the boys and Josh blind folded me and we left. He drove me all around and I thought I knew where we were but I didn't. I finally started asking Jett questions so I could sort of know JOsh told Jett he couldn't tell but when we pulled up I could tell by how Jett was acting that we were at the farm. I walked in a few doors and SURPRISE there was my whole family (except Nathan) and my friends and it was totally decked out it was a 30 "rocks" party my Mom and STacey looked amazing along with DAyle and JOsh and MIchelle Hurst and Lance it was GREAT!!!! I couldn't believe my eye I was a little embarrassed because I had JOsh do a family thing before but he did it so I wouldn't know I really had NOOOOOO clue it was fun! They had all my pictures on old videos clear from kindergarten up and plastic guitars hanging up with 30 rocks balloons and all sorts of food and treats and of course an amazing Ice Cream Cake! Jamie had me sit in front of everyone while she gave me the sweetest gift ever 30 things about me - she definitely knows everything about me and more. It's pretty amazing when you still have a best friend since you were babies I don't know what I would do without her. She even started tearing up what an amazing person she is. I know her and Stacey put a lot of work into it along with Josh and everyone else. Lacy took pictures for it and made signs, Jessi did balloons and food everyone was a lot of help and it was so fun to have everyone there that could make it. I felt bad my family stayed late and had to go home that night. I seriously don't know how I got so lucky to have such an amazing family and amazing friends. I will never forget that party in my life it was one of the greatest so far. Thanks everyone for making it so special. I told Stacey now what are we going to do for her 30th coming up. It's hard to beat things that her and Jamie put together. Well I will hopefully get more pictures she took a ton. But again my birthday rocked! Ps. my shirt around my waist was the shirt Josh picked for the 80s look not quite what the girls were expecting! also the kids had a great time JOsh got a few babysitters to be there too so we could enjoy the party so thanks to Mindie for sharing her daughters.
