Christmas 2012

I have to say sometimes I feel a little bad after Christmas because we all get so spoiled so much that I think about those that don't get anything and it makes my heart hurt for them. We did have a great Christmas other than the fact all of the boys were sick. Jett got a fever Christmas Eve, Colt didn't feel good either and Josh didn't either. We still had a good time. The boys loved opening their presents and they got so many fun things. Colt actually opened some water coloring things first and that is all he cared about for the longest time. It was funny some of the small things were their favorite things. Colt did love his big Fire Truck from Santa and Jett loved his tool set they also got cars and clothes, and games, puzzles, coloring stuff, candy, books, pretty much everything they wanted and more. Josh spoiled me as always he got me some really cute clothes and some running shoes and running gear. He always does a good job. Mom and Dad always spoil us too. We are definitely very blessed to have been able to always have good Christmas' where our parents could provide for us and we could provide for our children. It's always a very special time of year. We did get Christmas for a family with five children we had a big party where we wrapped presents instead of giving friend gifts and to me that was one of the best parts. It was hard to get in the Christmas mood this year with the weather being so nice, but after I went to Forgotten Carols it got me in the right Christmas Spirit. I wish the Christmas Spirit was around all year long with the giving and gathering and caring - it is a wonderful time of year. We are so thankful for Jesus and the celebration of his birth and to be able to teach that to our children. I can't believe it has already come and gone though you work so hard for it to come and go so fast. We enjoy all the memories with our families. We spent Christmas morning at my Mom and Dad's then we always do Christmas with Josh's whole family in the evening and have dinner and play games. Again we are so lucky and blessed for amazing families that get a long, love each other, enjoy each other, care for each other, and have so much fun together. We love all of them!!! We didn't get to see Nate and Carley I was pretty bummed but the kids were sick Colt kept throwing up and he had surgery that Friday so we came back home and barley missed them. But it was definitely for the best we had probably worn out our welcome the day we got there:) The boys do love playing with all their cousins now which is so fun. We are excited to add two more to the family this year. And one more thought the boys LOVED The snow they had a great time sledding, building snowmen, eating it, and just playing in it. But we are always glad to get out of it too!!!
