Our Christmas was a little different this year, Josh really wanted to go on a cruise and I told him I just didn't know if I could do it during Christmas, but I for sure wouldn't go if we went by ourselves. So we sort of talked Jalene and Jeremy into going with us. Actually I think they were excited about it. It was kind of like their second honeymoon!
We had a great time the weather was perfect and the water was so warm. We came back with great tans but we can't even show them off because we have to bundle up. So we are all starting to peel and itch like crazy.
The islands we went to were: Puerto Rico, Tortola, St. Maarten, St. Lucia, Barbados, Grenada, Curacao, and Aruba. Each island was so different. My favorites were: St. Lucia we went zip lining here and it was so beautiful, and Curacao we went on doom buggies and shopped here but it was such a colorful island and well kept. I also really liked Aruba's beaches - we went Kayaking and snorkeling clear out to tim buck two there I was proud of Jalene because she was really nervous to do it. Grenada was neat it was the island of "Spices" so we got to see how all the spices grow and taste them in their natural state. We hiked to a waterfall in Grenada and Jeremy and Josh decided to jump off it. Grenada was also a very beautiful island. Barbados was a little to busy for us, it was more so because of the holiday's but it was driving me insane.
Basically overall we had a great time. Of course Christmas day we were a little home sick, but after we new it was all over with we were ready to go again. One thing about trips - it is always so much fun to go, but when you see how other people live you come home so thankful for all you have and where you live. It is always a reminder to me how blessed we really are!
When we got back Jalene and I were excited to get home to see our families. It was fun to get up home and see everyone. My Mom and Dad still went all out even when we were gone. We have the best families ever.
Now comes the depressing part - back to work tomorrow! Enjoy!

Sounds like a fun christmas! I think I could have traded 2 feet of snow for warm weather and warm water:) Glad you guys had a good time.
We missed you at Christmas but I'm so glad that you got to go. I love the Caribbean and can't wait to see ALL of your pictures.
Hey!! I know we SO SO SO need to come down! Even though we both love the snow so much it would be nice to visit and also to see your home and also Jer & Jalene's! Looks and sounds like you four had a ball in the Carribean.. We missed ya over the holidays though! I will talk to Jess and see what weekend is available:) He is a busy body just like Josh! I am offically jealous! What a fun chrsitmas! I know its hard not to be at home but it is one you will always remember. That sounds like such a fun cruise too, stopping everyday! Hopefully we can catch up with you guys soon to see more pictures :) Oh and we still have your guys christmas presents. Sorry I didn't know you would be gone half the month :)
