One Year Mark!

I can't believe Jett is about to hit his one-year mark. Time seriously has flown by. I wanted to write some fun memories of Jett to remind me later of what a great year it has been.

Jett is definitely a mover he doesn't like to stay in one place for very long - which sometimes I wish he would because he doesn't let me hold him very long and when he does I try to take advantage of it.

Jett's first word was Dad, of course what else would it be his Dad is his best buddy he loves hanging out with Dad. I don't blame him his Dad is a pretty fun guy, not to mention an amazing Father.

Jett's favorite food I would have to say is any breads, and probably watermelon as his fruit or strawberries. He does love the little cheeto bites and yogurt.

He loves to move things - for a while now Jett has been moving the blanket basket, then he moved to the kitchen chairs, so we finally bought him a toy he could push around anywhere. That helped him walk, now that he is getting pretty good at walking he doesn't push things as much!

If any one knows Jett very well they know he loves his Baby Einstein videos which has helped Mom and Dad out on several different occasions. He will actually even start squealing because he gets so excited during parts of the movies.

Jett rolled over fast, crawled fast, and walked fast he was always a quick baby to do things like that, but I still can't get him to say any more words then: Mama, Dada, Uh Oh, and Bobba, I have been working on dogie forever!! I guess that part will come.

He has grown to love his crib - He loves to bite on it, run around in it, throw things out of it, play peek a boo out of it. and try to reach things through it. I love going in to get him after a nap or the night just to play with him in his crib.

Jett has an amazing smile he is always so happy and full of life it's hard to be in a bad mood around him he always makes you smile. Plus those beautiful blue eyes add right to him melting your heart when he looks at you and smiles.

I could go on and on - basically this year has been one of the most memorable years we have had yet. I told Josh the joy Jett brings is so much different then going on vacation for fun or whatever and until you have a child it's hard to explain that type of joy. We feel so blessed that we have had the opportunity to have this angel in our family. We love him more than words can express. One year almost down and we are looking forward to many more amazing years to come!
