Jett's First Halloween!

This last weekend was a lot of fun. It was so fun to take Jett around in his cute little tiger costume. I actually had three costumes for him this year. Jill had a Monkey that didn't fit Ethan so I put that on him for our ward trunk or treat. Then I found that cute tiger costume at Costco and had to get it, then I had bought one last year at the Halloween store on sale that he didn't even wear it was a pirate costume. So Thursday we did the trunk or treat and Friday I brought Jett to school with me to do the Tot Trick or Treat and Jamie met me here with her kids then took him home with her. I had fun showing him off at school he loved the kids and just running in the halls he was definitely the center of attention. That night Jalene and Taylor came down and we went out to Staheli Farms and showed the kids the animals and put them in the swings, it is a lot of fun out there. Next year Jett will really love it when he can do more things like the tractor ride and the tire swings. Anyway after we hung out there for a bit we headed to Red Robin for dinner to meet Treo and Nolan and the kids. That was interesting - Jett was already down for the night so we fought him the whole time, but it was still fun. When we got back we walked over to our neighbors pumpkin party they always go way out for Halloween! You should have seen the pumpkins they carved - they were amazing!!!!

The next day we of course did a little shopping while Jalene was here and then had the boys tend while we went to lunch for Jalene's birthday. We were going to get a pedicure but the place was actually closed so what did we do - yes shopped a little more. We actually just had to get food for the party that night.

We got home and the boys took off to go golfing and we got things ready for the party. We took the kids trick or treating first and then came back and had soup and treats it was fun. Jamie brought her kids, Rob and Jill came, Melanie and Clint came for a minute, and several others stop by it was fun.

We had super fun with Jett on his first Halloween it would have been a little better if he had felt a little better. Now he is even more sick and it breaks my heart his poor nose is just running and he is coughing I pray he hasn't given it to anyone.

We were so glad to have Jalene and Taylor come down it had been forever since they had. We miss them here, but definitely look forward to their visits. Taylor and Jett just played and played together they love each other. She looked adorable as a Lion. It's crazy though how much they change in just a few weeks of not seeing them.

Look in the first picture Jett even knows how to say it's his first Halloween by holding his finger up!!! What a smarty pants!
