We have continued to live our life outside like we usually do. Swing sets, parks, splash pads, the works. We all love the outdoors.
Both boys have started talking so much more it is crazy! Jett is just understanding everything and Colt is picking up on so much too. I can't believe how fast they are growing. This is funny though we took Colt in for his 15th month appointment and they weighed 4 oz apart Jett was 28.8 and Colt was 28.4 funny huh! They continue to play play play together and wrestle and steal toys and love on each other and then tease each other. They are just becoming best buds, worst enemies, and that would equal brothers right.
Colt is also wearing himself out if you can't tell he has falling asleep in the craziest places. What a kid!
We had Carley's shower this last weekend it was a lot of fun. I think we embarrassed her pretty good but it was fun. The food was great and we had a great turn out.
The next day was the annual Easter Egg hunt we of course dyed easter eggs the night before and all won a prize. And the Easter Bunny hid a ton of eggs this year. Nathan had a little moment where his competitive side came out when his bag broke and Josh and Stockton started taking some of his eggs he then picked up a hard boiled egg and chucked it and went back and wasn't going to continue on. We gave him crap because he knew he would of done the same thing and he told Carley there is no mercy in this family so good luck. Anyway Lance won it again we are all getting a little sick of him always winning and I think Nathan was determined to win this year and that is why he got sooo mad. It was funny though. The kids loved it and so did we. Mom and DAd put a lot of time into that but we always look forward to it.
After our hunt we got ready to go up the hill for our annual Roberts Picnic. We had so many family members there it was fun to see them all and catch up. I can't believe how grown up the kids are and how old some of my family members are getting. It's weird to think that time goes so fast. I am so glad we continue to do it though it has been a great tradition in our family and I hope we will always continue to do it. Jett loved roasting hot dogs, climbing the hills, and rolling his Easter eggs down the hill. He is getting easier with everything. Colt liked it too but was pretty tired he actually had a nap in the car why we continued to play outside.
Why I was at the shower Friday Josh took the two boys over to his Mom's for her Easter Egg Hunt. They had a great time there but Josh was a little overwhelmed I think with both boys he didn't even get to go do the hunt because Colt wouldn't leave his side. It was good for him though. But since I couldn't go I wanted to go visit them so we went back over Sunday for a few hours and hung out. Doris also does a lot on Easter the kids always look forward to that one too. We are lucky to have such great grandparents and parents that make holidays so exciting and fun! Thanks Mom and Dad for all you do and all the great traditions and memories.
Great weekend the weather was perfect the boys didn't want to leave they even got to go ride a horse up to Jamie's parents house and feed the cows, and goats, and see the new puppies. So when we left Jett was pretty upset because he wanted to stay. Glad they love to go to Grandma's.
Great times!
