Lake Tahoe Trip

I wanted to hurry and write about our trip before I forgot anything. We had so much fun and it was perfect weather the company was fantastic and there was so much to do and see that it was hard to leave. We left Thursday morning and flew out of St. George to Salt Lake and from there caught a flight to Reno. They were both short plane rides so it was nice I slept on about all of them. So we got to Reno around noon or so and got our car and then grabbed some lunch and headed toward Tahoe. It was only like a forty minute drive not bad and so we went and checked in our hotel and then headed out to see the town. That night we Josh had booked us tickets to see Shakespeare and pre-ordered us dinner why because we thought we would try something different and add some culture to our lives, the food was okay and we will just say that about the play. No it really was a good play but I think you have to know Shakespeare's play's to enjoy them we could understand what was going on but it was a little much for us so we left during intermission. Before the play we went on an awesome walk around the Lake it was very pretty. So it was worth it to just go down to that part of the Lake and experience it but I don't know if you will catch us back to a Shakespeare's play. Actually we made it right in time to the late night Batman movie at 9:45 way more our stile but it was like a three hour movie so Jamie and I struggled but it was fun. I was a little weary going to it after the shooting in Aurora Colorado at the movie theater of that show. Crazy people out there. Friday we woke up and thought we were driving the boys a half hour away to go golfing but it turned out to be over an hour away so we had to reschedule our massages because we would have totally missed them. So the driving took a chunk out of our morning but the massages were great I always enjoy a massage then we headed and got some lunch, went back to our room's to rinse off and went back to rent some bikes and explore. We went on a very pretty bike bath that went down through the trees and to different beaches Polo Beach is the one we went to so that was fun. We had the boys take a bus ride back because there was no way we wanted to drive that again if we didn't have to. They actually pooled into a gas station right by where we were as we were leaving it was pretty crazy how it worked out. Then we headed back and got ready to go to dinner. We let Josh T. decide where to go so we walked down the street and he picked a barbecue spot which was okay not the best but the ice cream and cookies after at Nestles made up for it. We headed back after that the boys were exhausted from golfing and by the way they had a great time they golfed with some older guy that was amazing and he gave them a ride to the bus station and they bussed part way and took a trolley the rest but the loved it. Saturday we woke up and headed out to go hiking at Eagle's point and Emerald Bay it was very pretty the boys got in the Lake and swam then we headed to Truckee to go on our River Rafting trip. I was a little nervous but it didn't end up being as scary as I thought. It was perfect for me and Jamie I think but the boys could of used a little more thrill. We had a great guide and again the weather was perfect everything got in but me - Jamie not willingly and I'm glad I didn't she was freezing when we got back. After we went river rafting we headed to the Brad Paisley concert we didn't even plan on that part we just saw he was in town and called and got tickets and even got them on the seventh row! He was amazing I love all his songs. So that just topped off the whole trip it was so much fun. We headed back to Reno after that and stayed at a sweet hotel but we were all to tired and stayed such a short time we didn't get to even enjoy it. Jamie and Josh flew out the next morning at six and we didn't leave until ten so that was nice I know they were super tired. So overall it was just an awesome trip not enough time to do everything we would have liked to but perfect amount of time to be gone I was already missing my boys. They did good with the Grandma's but I think they got a little home sick on Sunday Jett said I want my Mom and DAd RIGHT NOW! and cried for us a couple of times, sad but I'm glad they miss us. I was so excited to see them. So a big thanks to everyone that helped out with them so we could go we really enjoyed it and needed it. I would go to Lake Tahoe again it was beautiful. Thanks Josh and Jamie for making it even that much better by having you there!!
