Summer Fun!!

I haven't been as good as usual to update probably because I don't have my iphone at the moment because my beautiful little Colt dropped it in the toilet and it no longer works and that is how I was taking and transferring all my pictures so I have been taking some on my camera and on our old droid phone but I can't seem to get them to upload for some reason from that phone. But I have to say my luck with phones is not good because as of today my other phone is soaking in water because it dumped into a cup of water when I was reaching to grab Jett in the car so who knows if it will even work - yikes!!!! You know the saying you can't have nice things when you have kids well we have learned that is VERY TRUE!!!!! It has been fun the past few weeks. We actually went up and ran a race with Nathan and Carley in Mona it was a lot of fun. We met Nathan and Carley at my Mom's dropped the kids off for the night then headed up to stay in Springville. On the way up we played paper rock scissors and bet on pretty much everything like hotel, gas, dinner, movie, and Nathan pretty much won it all it was crazy! We had fun though we went to dinner at PF Changs shopped went and got ice cream, and then went to bed and got ready for our big race. We had to get up pretty early but we made it Josh drove us to the starting line it was funny. Josh and Nathan have a good time together they were cracking us up. It was Carley's first half marathon and she did AWESOME I was proud of her I am excited to have a new running buddy to go do races with. Nathan did his first 5k race with Josh and he did beat Josh it was pretty funny, but it was a really pretty run with perfect weather. Mile eleven was a little rough it was a nice big hill but we pushed through it. Afterwards we hung out for the day so it was fun then headed back to Mom's and barbecued and played corn hole so it was a fun weekend. I just love Carley Nathan is so lucky she is just so sweet and beautiful and loves to go do anything. I have been super lucky with my sister in laws my brothers are both very lucky and so am I!!!! This last weekend we went up to Brian Head well just Saturday Tim and Doris came down Friday for the night so we hung out with them and then headed up in the morning. We went up to Cade Ence's cabin and hung out with them and Blake and Bree so it was a good time. It rained on us but we still went four wheeling and played outside and just had a good time. We unpacked and packed back up to go up for the big 24th celebration in Monroe. I played 3 on 3 this year it has been a couple years and I am feeling it. Funny how I am not in basketball shape at all. It was a lot of fun though I played with Carley, Hayley TEbbs, and Amanda Bagley. We took 3rd we should have won the first game but it didn't go our way we will just say! Josh had a good time he played with Lance, Josh Terry, and Ryan Eves in the 30 and older bracket they played my cousins again but this year they lost. I was to tired to run the five mile milk run I was a little sad I didn't mainly because Jamie and Jessi ran it and I wish I could have been there to cheer them on. The parade was fun as usual, and same with fireworks. Josh actually went home before the fire works because he had to work the next day so he went home with Josh Terry. We went over and saw my Grandma in the hospital she fell and fractured her pelvis and shoulder so we went and visited her and my Aunt Tamie was there with her family so it was fun to visit with them. My Grandma is doing better she has to do a little rehab work but she is a tough women especially for being 90. Thank goodness my Mom and Dad went over to visit or she probably wouldn't have told anyone and sat in her chair and just been miserable. Those two they are just tough people and I hate to see them get old. Hopefully she will be able to go home soon. Now I am home and getting ready to go on our trip to Lake Tahoe. We left the kids at my Mom's for the weekend and we are going to Lake Tahoe with Jamie and JOsh. It is weird to come home and not have the kids with me and hear noise and be chasing none stop I know I am going to miss them like crazy but I am ready to just have a little break. So thanks to our parents and family for allowing that to happen they are the best!!!!!! Oh and I forgot to mention that Jalene came and stayed with Briggs and I got to tend him for a little while. He is such a beautiful baby my boys just loved him. Can't wait until they are back down here!! Time for bed.
