Where did August go!!
I can't believe I haven't posted anything since July and it is now September. Where did August go for real. I didn't even transfer any pictures of August from my phone that tells you I have been a little crazy. So a few things in August we will start with last weekend it was labor day and we went to Vegas Friday Night and stayed with the boys and MIndie and Mallorie and that was a lot of fun. We went swimming and out to dinner then to the Aquarium the next day so that was fun. Monday we took the boys up to Veyo to fish for craw dads and fish. We weren't so lucky with the craw dads but we did catch some fish and had fun swimming and going for a razor ride so it was a fun filled day for all of us. That was also the first day I met with my biggest Loser team. I am training a group of five amazing women and this is my first time doing it so I have been nervous and excited and crazy all together. I am glad it is started and I can know and figure out what I'm doing instead of the unknown. I really did luck out with an awesome group so it has been great so far. It is ten weeks and I just hope I can teach them to make this their life style. Anyway I have been crazy with that and classes and kids always crazy with kids. You would think Mr. Colt would stop being my little terror but here are few more things to add to the list: Rock in the fuel pump of the lawn mower, marker all over his body, lip stick on my car seats, poop all over the jetts in the tub, keys scraped on my leather couch, really I could go on and on I just keep wondering if it will every slow down he definitely keeps me running. He did get some hot sauce in his mouth because he kept saying "oh shit" and of course it was so funny because he actually said to me in the car one day. "Oh shit mom there is a bunny" I"m like what did you say anyway it was hilarious but then he would just do it because he knew it was a bad word so we have had to work on that. Colt really does say some of the funniest things. He will say oh that food is delicious huh mom. He has been in a kick of calling Josh by his first name and not Dad it is pretty funny. They are both smart little boys. Jett still has his little lisp he says rice drisbe for rice krispie and titty tat for kitty cat and just a few more it is so cute. He also calls the game Jenga - stag which he is trying to say stack, but anyway he loves that game. Jett is just all about building and putting things together. He started his first day of preschool today and he was so excited. Only hard part was Colt thought he was going to he put his back pack on and headed out with us and walked in hung it up and sat down he really thought he was staying. I felt bad taking him away. Kind of like I did at gymnastics yesterday he just isn't quite ready it's amazing what a few months will do in maturity levels. Colt thinks he is as big as Jett which in physical aspects he is but not mentally yet. So Jett has also started gymnastics again and is going to be an amazing gymnast. He is actually going to be good at whatever he does he is such a talented little boy. He does have some major upper body strength though all that boy wants to do is climb, climb, climb.
I have typed this a couple of times and everytime I try to load the pictures it doesn't work so I am going to do them in a separate post. Hope this was all..
Ok so the part about the Wayne County Fair didn't save. We had a great time going over and seeing Grandma and Grandpa Blackburn. I am so blessed to have such amazing grandparents in my life. My grandpa is still out there over 90 doing his big garden and sharing it with everyone he can. They are still freezing corn and bottling things it just amazes me the things they still do. They are great examples to me and my kids. The kids had a great time rolling down Grandpa's big hill and feeding the horses the ends of the carrots. Jett loved following Great Grandpa in the garden. It was just overall a great day.
