2013 Almost Gone!!
Of course I am going to have to play catch up here. It has been over a month since I have posted. I seriously can never find the time to stay on top of everything. So lets start with November.
Thanksgiving was awesome we had it at Josh's parents it was a lot of fun. Great food, skeet shooting, playing with cousins, playing games, it was a good time. Josh has a great family! and it is so nice that we all get a long and enjoy each others company. We stayed a night at my Mom's and of course that is always fun for the boys too.
Where did December go I have no clue because we had party after party. It started with our Girls Party at Jamie's which was super fun even though we missed a few regulars. Then I had a lunch party with my awesome running friends at the tahiti restaurant. Then we had our ward party, our neighborhood party, our StoneTree Party which was awesome thanks to Mindie and Gordan. Gordan cooked his famous chicken, potatoes, homemade macaroni and cheese he seriously should have a catering business. He is the best cook ever. They put minute to win it games together that were hilarious, we had a piniata and played musical chairs which was super fun. So it turned out awesome like every year. Mindie got me roses to thank me for being the wife of the big boss man so that was awesome. She seriously is the best.
So December basically flew by. We have decided this is our last year to probably travel home we think it is time to stay at our own house for Christmas. But we made the haul with the trailer loaded up and stayed at my Mom's. It was a super fun night and morning. The good old Christmas eve dinner and pjs and stories it was great. Then Christmas morning was amazing the boys were so much fun. Jett woke up and said Dad Santa was really here I saw my bike I'm not sure Colt got his but mine was there. It was hilarious. Kids definitely bring the heart of Christmas. They loved every minute of it. It was fun to spend it with all the family even though every one of us about got sick. It started with Lance, then Mom didn't feel to hot, then we went over to Josh's parents for the annual Christmas Party and Dinner over there and I started to not feel to hot. Then I felt it coming I started throwing up there and all the way to my Mom's then it hit Jett, then Colt, then Josh. I'm thinking maybe Nathan and Carley brought it with them they all had it the week before. I'm not saying it was their fault at all because so much crap was going around but I am thinking that is why they didn't get it because they already had it. It was awful. The worst night ever. I'm just glad it didn't hit that morning and we still got to enjoy Christmas morning.
That next day Josh didn't feel to hot so we basically hung out for a bit and loaded up and came home. So I just think next year it will be nice to just hang out at our own house and not have to pack up and go anywhere. It will be hard because all of our family lives there, but it will be nice to start our own traditions. Josh already started one...Carmel apples Christmas Eve Night. It was cute he thought of that. He spoiled me as always, boots, more boots, clothes, glasses, perfume. He always does to much. My Mom and Dad gave all of us kids a cruise to Alaska in July so that will be sweet. We are just seriously so blessed. Josh's parents spoiled the boys and gave us to much money. We just have amazing families.
We had the elf this year he just moved all over the place. The boys loved finding him each morning. We also had a good time making several gingerbread houses, seeing Christmas lights, making Christmas projects and eating lots of treats. The Holidays are great. Now we are just getting ready to Celebrate Colt's Big #3 Birthday Tomorrow.
We had a really fun New Year's Eve Party at Josh's parents house down here. WE cooked pizza's in the garage and played the horse game and ate way to much food. Good food might I add. There was a lot of people there and there again we are so blessed to have such great friends that are so fun and so awesome to be around and hang out with. I love everyone of them.
A new year begins- New goals, fresh start on things, I hope it will be a great year. I am learning that patience is going to be an ongoing goal for me I feel like right now all I do is yell and I really don't like it, but man I can't get those two boys to listen to me. It gets very draining, I just hope I can make it through with my sanity.
I do have to say this last thing I bought them a couple Christmas movies and it was like a Chinese girl cartoon from Nickelodeon and she was teaching the kids how to say Snow in Mandarin and it was called Shii sounded totally like Shit. Me and Josh were laughing so hard then the boys caught on and just started saying it to be funny. Oh dear we are in for it.
I do have to say yes our boys are so full of life and business and adventure but I am glad that they are like that instead of non social and quite. I know it has to do a lot with how me and Josh are, so we can't say to much. But they bring us so much Joy. They definitely are on a love hate ride every minute. They love each other then they are hitting each other or crying it's crazy. They do love to wrestle and be crazy. Colt can't be without his brother. He is now 10 pounds heavier then his brother and a little taller too. People think Colt is the older one. Jett is learning a ton in Preschool and still loves to climb and put things together. He likes his Mom's attention ALOT and likes to yell or kick me until I give it to him. Colt continues to be our morning entertainment. One morning he came in and let one rip while we were still asleep then he started laughing and said " that is hilarious" we both busted up laughing. He is so much fun in the morning. We love our morning time with him. Not so much the night time that is Jett's favorite part is night, not Colt's and not Mom's!! Colt still loves books and tractors and anything Jett does. They have a lot of fun together and have a lot of good friends too. We have an awesome neighborhood with great families and kids for them to look up to.
Oh I forgot to tell about my awesome tripe to Justin Timberlake with my amazing girlfriends: Jamie Jeppson, Kendra, Kristie, and Me. We had so much fun. I got the tickets for Jamie for her birthday and we invited the others to come and we had a great time shopping, eating and hanging out in our sweet room thanks to my lover boy!! Justin was an amazing entertainer and just wish our seats would have been closer. It was still awesome even though I was super tired!
Also Jett got surgery he had his hernia taken care of. Kind of crazy it was fast and he healed really quickly but it was still sad to send him back and have him scared to death when we went in to see him. Poor little thing, but he didn't even cry going back he did Awesome!
Ready or not 2014 here you come!!!
Did I mention that everything gets broken at our house!!
